These WELLAND 9 1/4 inch Black Mission Floating Shelves are a solid addition to my home decor. The shelves are lightweight and have a modern, matte finish that doesn’t show scratches easily. The package includes all necessary mounting hardware and clear instructions, making the assembly process straightforward.
The shelves feel sturdy once installed, and I appreciate that they can hold a decent amount of weight. I use them to display various items like books and decorative pieces, and they haven’t shown any signs of sagging. However, I did opt to use my own wall screws to ensure a secure installation, aligning the shelves with wall studs for extra stability.
One downside is the mounting hardware that comes with the shelves. The anchors provided seem a bit flimsy, and I experienced one breaking during installation. Thankfully, I had extra anchors on hand, so it didn’t delay the setup. If you’re planning to mount heavier items, you might want to consider investing in higher-quality hardware.
