I decided to give the AMADA HOMEFURNISHING Floating Shelves a try, and overall, I’m quite pleased with my purchase. The set of three shelves comes in a rustic brown finish, and they truly add a touch of elegance and functionality to any room. I opted to use these in my living room to display some art pieces and small plants, and they’ve made a noticeable positive impact on the decor.
The shelves are made of MDF laminate and feel quite sturdy. The metal brackets are invisible once installed, giving the shelves a clean, floating appearance. Each shelf can hold up to 20 lbs, which is plenty for my needs. I was particularly impressed by the wider design, making them suitable for holding books and other larger items.
Installation was straightforward, thanks to the included instructions and standard mounting hardware. However, like some other reviewers, I found the quality of the wall anchors to be lacking. They tended to break easily, so I ended up using my own anchors, which made the process much smoother. I would recommend the company to consider providing higher quality wall anchors in the future.
One small detail that could be improved is the visibility of the screw holes on the bottom of the shelves. Some plastic caps or stickers to cover these would have been a nice touch. Despite these minor issues, the shelves look fantastic and have received several compliments from visitors.
