I am very pleased with the Fixwal 24in Floating Shelves for Wall. They bring a perfect farmhouse touch to my decor with their rustic dark brown color, which matches the listing photos accurately. The carbonized wood has a charming aged look that adds character to my bathroom. The shelves are lightweight, thanks to the paulownia wood, and although they have a slightly rough surface, it complements the rustic aesthetic very well.
Installation was a breeze as all necessary hardware was included. The shelves feel stable and sturdy once mounted, although I did notice a slight tilt when placing heavier items like a jar of epsom salts. To be safe, I decided to use them for lighter objects, which they hold up perfectly without issue. The 24″ width is a significant advantage since most other options I found were only 18″ wide.
While the shelves are beautiful and functional for lighter items, they may not be the best choice for heavy-duty storage like books. I also noticed that one of the shelves had some areas where the stain was either missed or too light, but it’s a minor issue that doesn’t detract much from the overall appearance.
Overall, these shelves are an excellent addition to my home decor. They are easy to install, aesthetically pleasing, and provided the much-needed extra storage space without cluttering my counters.
